Reiki is my first love.
If you don’t know my story, I spent several years in my early 20s mysteriously sick. To this day no-one really knows what was medically wrong with me. After over two years of failed treatments, doctors told me to live with it and not to come back.
Having exhausted all that modern medicine could offer, I (reluctantly) went looking for alternatives to restore me back to health. I tried a bunch of stuff, but Reiki is the one that worked for me – and boy did it work!
Not only did I become well again, I actually became more healthy and vibrant than I had ever been. My life started shifting in positive ways. I lost weight, changed careers, released toxic relationships, became more outgoing and energetic – I even became a black belt!
People who knew me when I was sick and struggling couldn’t believe the difference in me, but I knew what had happened – I had changed my energy, and Reiki helped me do that.
When you change your energy everything shifts as a result, and I’m proof of that.
When I started practicing Reiki on other people, things started shifting for them too. People stopped smoking, quit their jobs, started dream businesses. One woman even felt her bad back realign itself on my treatment table – and I wasn’t even touching her back! It really is amazing what happens when you introduce a higher vibration into the mix – and that is what Reiki does.
I’ll let you into a secret: if you know how to do Reiki then self-practice is where it’s at. Just as if you might learn how to do yoga, it won’t help you unless you actually practice yoga. The same principle applies to Reiki. The magic is in the doing – repeatedly. When I healed myself all those years ago I did self-practice almost daily. That’s the secret.
Even if you don’t know Reiki self-practice, you can receive treatments from a Reiki practitioner. I personally perform the long-distance version of Reiki, with happy results, but if you prefer the hands-on approach you can search for a practitioner in your area.
